La RMx.C Revista Mexicana del Caribe es una publicación científica de periodicidad anual que publica artículos inéditos acerca del área del Caribe en las disciplinas de ciencias sociales y humanidades. Es editada por la Universidad de Quintana Roo y la Asociación Mexicana de Estudios del Caribe.
Los artículos son sometidos a arbitrajes de pares con el sistema de doble ciego; se publican en el idioma original de los autores, con resúmenes en inglés, francés y holandés, que corresponden a la conformación lingüística del Caribe, aunque se privilegian el español y el inglés.
Durante los diez años de la primera etapa de la RMx.C, que inició en 1996, contó con la participación de prestigiados investigadores en su Consejo editorial, la mayoría de ellos se incorporan a esta nueva etapa que se ve fortalecida con la inclusión de jóvenes investigadores que han destacado en su especialidad.
La RMx.C formó parte del padrón de revistas de excelencia de Conacyt, por la rigurosidad de su proceso editorial. En esta nueva etapa esta política sigue vigente para garantizar a los investigadores la calidad académica de los artículos publicados.
Presentation
The RMx.C Revista Mexicana del Caribe is a scientific journal that publishes unedited articles on the Caribbean from the fields of the social sciences and humanities. The Journal is edited by the University de Quintana Roo and the Mexican Association for Caribbean Studies (AMEC).
Articles are peer reviewed, following the double blind system; submissions are published in the original language of the author/s, with abstracts in English, French and Dutch, corresponding to the linguistic configuration of the Caribbean region. However, Spanish and English are the principal languages for the Journal.
For ten years, beginning in 1996, RMx.C was honored to include many prestigious scholars on the Editorial Board, many of whom return for this new stage of RMC alongside young scholars, distinguished in their fields, who strengthen our new Editorial Board.
During its first period RMx.C was incorporated in the Conacyt listing of Quality Journals due its rigorous editorial process. In this new stage the editorial policy remains in place, and guarantees the academic quality of the published articles for all scholars.
